In spring 2024, on April 18th, we will continue our regional journey initiated in Belgrade by heading to the capital of Macedonia. The gathering aims to unite top experts from the industry, manufacturing, and technology sectors as we promote partnership and regional cooperation.

“PIT North Macedonia 2024, from April 18th to April 19th, 2024, in Skopje.”

“The focus on digitalization and automation of production has been longstanding within manufacturing companies, with experts in these fields consistently elaborating on the benefits they bring. Furthermore, there exists significant untapped potential for cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. Despite potential arguments against mixing emotions with business, we firmly believe that the strong friendship between the Macedonian and Bosnian-Herzegovinian people greatly contributes to the deepening of economic cooperation.

At the upcoming conference in Macedonia, representatives from companies that have undergone digital transformation and automation will share their experiences on how these changes have positively impacted productivity. Additionally, discussions will surround the latest technological advancements, industrial trends, and strategies for organizational optimization in the production process, with successful companies from previous PIT conferences serving as inspiration to all attendees.

The decision to come to Macedonia is rooted in the belief in untapped cooperation potential between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia, alongside the understanding that emotional ties can enhance economic collaboration. Economic indicators from 2000 to 2021 reveal a continuous GDP growth in Macedonia, albeit still below the global and developed country averages. This, coupled with Macedonia’s significant trade deficit akin to Bosnia and Herzegovina, underscores the need for analyzing and proposing measures to reduce it.

The gathering of experts, industrialists, and successful businessmen is thus crucial for intensifying industrial production, as it provides an opportunity to discuss not only manufacturing, technology, and industry but also demographic trends and the alignment of the education system with industry needs. Over the past thirty years, the region has accumulated a significant creative energy poised to foster new ideas, intensified industrial production, and increased business optimism, consequently improving the standard of living and reversing negative demographic trends.

Attending industrial conferences offers exclusive access to the latest research, insights into industrial trends, and technological advancements, while also facilitating the establishment of essential business contacts and acquaintances. As we navigate through the antechamber of the European Union, embracing new technologies and learning from industry leaders become paramount for our collective growth and development..

Finally, let us remember the great statesman and leader Boris Trajkovski, who knew that regional cooperation was in everyone’s interest. With that goal in mind, on the 26th of February 2004, he traveled to a business forum in Mostar, Thus let this conference be a continuation of President Trajkovski’s vision.

Boris Trajkovski, Dimka Ilkova-Bošković, Risto Blaževski, Anita Lozanovska, Mile Krstevski, Boris Velinov, Ace Velinovski, Marko Markovski, and Branko Ivanovski. Bosnia and Herzegovina have not and will never forget you.

Thank you, friends, for showing us the path we should take. Therefore, we invite you to PIT Macedonia to open a new chapter of partnership and cooperation.

See you in Skopje on April 19, 2024.
